WHAT TO EXPECT AT LIGHTHOUSE?
At Lighthouse, we come together as a community to worship Jesus. There will be a time of prayer and singing. Pastor Dan Barber will provide a biblical teaching with modern application every Sunday. We’re imperfect people who aspire to become more like Jesus and live out His mission, not just on Sundays, but in the way we live our lives every day.
It won’t take you long to discover that we’re more than just a Sunday church. In fact, we’re actually a network of small groups. And if you’d like to develop authentic and enduring relationships with others, you’ll be glad to know there are opportunities to join a group all the time.
WHAT IS YOUR SUNDAY SERVICE LIKE?
Each weekend at Lighthouse you’ll find a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with exciting, contemporary worship music and a practical, relevant message. Children are well-cared for in a loving, quality nursery and fun-filled service dedicated to children of all ages.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN WHEN I VISIT FOR THE FIRST TIME?
If you are visiting for the first time, we will not embarrass you, have you stand up, or ask you to give money. We know that many people want to check out the church and “be anonymous” for awhile—and that’s fine with us! Come in, enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, and see if this is the church for you.
WHAT DO I WEAR TO ATTEND YOUR SERVICE?
You’ll find everything from casual clothes to business suits at our weekend service. Come in what is comfortable for you, because Lighthouse is not about what you look like or what you wear.
DO YOU HAVE A MIDWEEK SERVICE?
During the school year, we have mid-week activities for families and individuals, which includes a meal at 5:30pm for your convenience. Wednesday evening programs begin at 6:30pm.
WHAT ABOUT MY CHILDREN?
At Lighthouse, your children are a top priority. Our nursery is clean, safe, and staffed with loving workers for infants up to 3 years old. Children ages 4 through 6th grade are offered age appropriate ministry every Sunday morning during Kids Church and Wednesday evenings through the school year.
HOW CAN I MEET OTHERS AND GET CONNECTED?
There are many ways to get involved. In addition to Sunday Service, we offer Wednesday evening meals and activities (Sept-May), small group meetings, monthly Men’s Breakfast, and prayer groups. Through these opportunities, you can build friendships, learn more about the life of our church, and have the opportunity to grow in your faith.
